This photo of the Mont Saint Michel was taken from the causeway with the northern coast of France behind. As you approache the Mont you pass plenty if high quality hotels and some great tourist shops. To find some cheaper hotels, venture slightly further into the French countryside just to the south. There are b and b's and campsites nearby aswell.
